Appomattox Directory is about all things Appomattox and surrounding areas. If you own a business and if you aren’t listed here, contact “publisher @ appomattoxnews.com” (remove the spaces and quotes) and we’ll put your business listing up within 24 hours. All we need is your business name, your address, your phone number and a Web site address if you have one. The cost? Priceless. You don’t pay a thing.

If you want to add substance to your listing, you can add any of the following:

1. Add content to your listing. Tell readers what you do and what you have to offer. Write your own 500-word description or we’ll write one for you at no charge. The price? A mere $25.00. The only other time we’ll charge you is if you want to change your copy, and that price will be less than $25.00! Non-profit businesses such as libraries or churches can expand their text for a mere $20.00 fee.
2. Add photos so people will recognize you, your employees, or your business. Each photo is $5.00, and we expect your approval on those photos before we post them.* Non-profit businesses can add photos for free, especially if those photos can be provided by your organization.
3. Add a video! What better way to show people what you do or what you sell than through a video? Provide your own video, or we’ll come to you to help you plan your ’show.’ Cost is $10.00 for each video that you provide, and $50.00 for each video that we produce. Our productions, of course, will pass your approval before they’re posted. If you are part of a non-profit organization, we can reduce these prices to $5.00 for each video that you provide and $25.00 for each video that we produce.

Every time a merchant adds content, photographs, or a video to their site, their information will be highlighted on the front page of the directory for one month. Additionally, as space allows, we may run new merchant videos on the front page of Appomattox News. We also plan to feature our merchant videos on an Appomattox account at YouTube. So much exposure at so little cost!

Another way to push your business to the forefront is to purchase a display ad on Appomattox Directory. Sizes are 125 x 125 pixels (samples on each page to the right). Each 125 x 125 ad is $10.00 per month with a three-month rotation. In other words, you can purchase a display ad for three months, but at that time another merchant can step up and take your place for three months while you drop down to the bottom of the list and work your way up again.

Payment for these services is easy - we offer convenient online payment through Paypal. You don’t need to register at Paypal to pay by check or credit card.
